We now offer our hair jewels in gold filled. Gold filled is hypoallergenic and very durable metal. Typically made from bronze with a heavy dipped gold coating to insure no tarnishing for a very very very long time. Gold filled can sustain sweat and water and can last you for years (if taken care of properly)
Although you may use in water, we suggest to always pat dry your hair jewels. All jump rings , head pins and chains are all gold filled minus the actual clips or twist.

Although these pieces are made of gold plating material, gold plating does not last for ever so we encourage you to follow the steps to insure you keep your piece in good condition.
